Physician Assistants (PAs) play an important role in the medical field. Physician assistants are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine under the supervision of a physician. Physician assistants perform a number of tasks that include: physical examinations of patients, arrange for diagnostic testing and take part in the interpretation of test results, assist with diagnosing and treating medical conditions, writing medical prescriptions, and counseling patients on health care. Basically Physician assistants have the authority to do almost everything a doctor can do.

Whether you’re just from high school wondering what career road to take, or buying second career Nursing is a rewarding choice. This field if focused primarily on taking care of and assisting families, and individuals in meeting their optimal health potential. At this stage within our paradigm nursing is viewed as both a science, and a skill – a good background in the biological sciences is needed, however more to the point the interpersonal skills and understanding of psychology is needed. More often then not those who get into nursing possess a predisposed uncanny degree of interpersonal skills, the science can be learnt much easier then the psychology and application therein.
