Chiropractic medicine is a form of holistic medicine that has been gaining a lot of popularity over the years. When it first started out chiropractic was marginalized by the medical community, but much has changed since then. Now chiropractic care is one of the first responses for those who are experiencing back or neck pain. Chiropractors manipulate the spine to create changes in the entire nervous system and make the body healthier.

Chiro offices usually have a lot more to offer than just doing spinal manipulations. If the office is well rounded, they incorporate multi-discipline treatments. This gives patients the best chance of a good outcome.

Get a Knoxville chiropractor today, and see the difference that it can make with how much you’ve been hurting. This profession works solely will bones and joints. Many people find the idea of being “adjusted” a little strange, but they might be surprised at how well it works. After trying it, you will see that the time and money is well worth it.

Any person has no less than an approximate understanding of exactly what a chiropractor really does (ask most of the people and they’ll at the very least disclose ‘that’s a bone doctor, right?’) and thus, the key benefits of chiropractic care are sometimes apparent. There’s little question that an individual having an injured spine will, usually, discover their problem improving upon following adequate procedure and therapies are provided by a qualified expert in the field of chiropractic care. The considerable benefits of chiropractic care go a little deeper than that, though.

What is the first thing people think about when they hear the word soy? Health food, right? Being a Kanata Chiropractor, rather than a nutritionist, may not make me an expert, but I would have to disagree, in fact I would go as far as to say that this is a misleading concept behind what the word Soy actually entails. Dr. Kaayla Daniel, the author of the most complete book ever written about soy, “The Whole Soy Story: The Dark Side of America’s Favorite Health Food”, clearly reveals soy links to malnutrition, digestive disturbances, immune-system breakdown, thyroid dysfunction, cognitive decline, reproductive problems and infertility, as well as cancer and heart disease. Surprising isn’t it? Well not really if you consider this side of the equation – just as cow’s milk promotion began when there was a surplus of cow’s milk, soy products were strongly promoted when it was “decided” that soy protein, a non-usable by-product remaining after extracting oil from soy plants, could be marketed as a “health food”. The edible oil industry is a multi-billion dollar industry that seems to find much research to back heavy soy consumption so they may benefit considerably by the increase of its sales. Besides the fact that most of their research is incomplete, and fictional for that matter, they also tend to be rather one sided and leave out all the major health risks associated with this so called “health food” product.

I know it may sound very silly. Headaches of course aren’t the result of an aspirin shortage. But the way most people react when they get a headache by popping pill after pill you’d think it was due to a shortage. There are, however, many safe and effective treatments for headaches. Some of them have been around for many years, and they have absolutely nothing to do with drugs or surgery.

Any person suffering from fibromyalgia knows how painful and depressing life can be when they have this condition. At New Century Spine Centers in San Diego, fibromyalgia is a common problem that many patients come in to get treatment for. Many fibromyalgia patients who come in for chiropractic care and spinal decompression therapy also know how misunderstood this condition can be. Until you suffer with fibromyalgia or similar conditions, it is difficult to really understand the true effects that it has on a person.

Chiropractic patients in San Diego regularly ask us about different treatments for their back pain and if they work. They come in with joint pain, such as back or neck pain. Imagine you go to a rheumatologist – a doctor who treats arthritis and other joint problems. He or she examines you and determines your problem. He or she prescribes a treatment and describes the treatment to you as “a potentially beneficial medicine not typically used for your condition.” What Would You Do? Would you follow his or her recommendations? Probably. And you would probably do it without much question or skepticism at all. Right? Would THIS information change your decision? According to an Associated Press article, a survey found about 50% of American doctors REGULARLY give their patients drugs or vitamins that won’t help their condition. But that’s not the worst part… These “placebo” treatments are not explained to their patients.

External Marketing is critical to the private practice today. You must have something unique to offer the community in order to be effective. Gorilla Marketing for unique services that you offer is a great way to get exposure for your clinic. Using Gorilla Marketing to showcase a unique service is good but a more “puppy-dog” approach can prove more effective than anything. What do I mean; Support Groups. I, Dr David Goroway, helped to build one of the world’s largest Energy Medicine Companies and while I was running the sales division of the company I believed in my heart that all a doctor needed to do was buy one of these machines, play the video in the waiting room and it would sell itself! No such luck! Even with the most unique services you have to get out and market; or find a staff member to do it for you!

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) has introduced a bill that would curb restrictions imposed by the FDA and FTC regarding health claims for dietary supplements. Why would he do that? Aren’t these restrictions good for the consumer to make sure they don’t get “duped” by snake oil salesmen making false claims?
