Heavy metal bands for the older generation did not mean the loud pounding music of today but the awkwardly set up and visible teeth straighteners which they had to wear in their mouth to straighten the teeth. The braces sported by the older generation vary compared to what the newer generations are sporting now. The newer braces not only do a better job of shifting the teeth but are more comfortable and efficient too.

The outer attribute of a person could be perfected by just a smile. If you have that perfect set of lovely teeth, then you would have no trouble facing the public since this will build your self-esteem. It is not possible to face someone and no notice his or her teeth and when it comes to this, rotten teeth can mean something to someone. After 2 months of having implanted supported replacement teeth, patients were able to increase their biting force by 85% according to studies. Considering the average chewing force, it is able to increase by 300% in 3 years compared to before implant treatment. With regard to chewing ability, the ability of patients with implant supported teeth is superior to that of people who use conventional dentures but their ability is similar with people who have healthy natural teeth.

Which is better, using a drill or a sandblaster? This question has been asked by dentists. The air abrasion technique which is the latest method that dentists use to remove decay does not give patients the jitters anymore unlike the old method which is Novocain that requires drilling of the teeth. Injections, drills and other pointed apparatus that may be used for the patient’s teeth are not used in this method that is why this technique doesn’t hurt at all.
