The doctors recommend a rest of three days for those using soft contact lenses, and three weeks for those using hard lenses. Wearing of contact lenses or eyeglasses are allowed to avoid the onset of headaches or to prevent accidents form happening. Wearing makeup, using lotions, colognes, perfumes and other products that may irritate your eyes are prohibited on the day that you are planning to have the surgical treatment.
