A shocking set of statistics have been released by the Guardian that highlight a rise in GP clinical negligence claims. The report has exposed a dramatic 20% increase in claims against GPs between 2009 and 2010. Most of these clinical negligence cases arose from wrong diagnoses or misdiagnosis and have cost the NHS millions.
