Itchy skin appears for many reasons. Sometimes our bodies experience allergies to certain substances in our environment. Other times a deep-seated disease can be the cause of itchy skin, or it can be an external trigger, such as coming into contact with a plant. The first instinct is to scratch an itch. Unfortunately, scratching an itch generally makes it worse. Itchy skin shows up as rashes, bumps, blistering or dry cracked skin.

Dyspnea is the medical term for shortness of breath. There are many reasons a person might experience Dyspnea, some potentially fatal and some not. However, no chances should be taken. If you experience problems breathing, trouble catching your breath or a feeling of suffocation, seek medical attention immediately.

Eczema and atopic dermatitis are the same condition. Both refer to a skin condition that appears as a rash or rough patch of skin on the body. The rash is usually itchy in nature. People are more likely to experience eczema if someone in their immediate family has experienced the condition.

Many are aware of the fact that word of mouth and being recommended is the easiest way of getting a job. But if you are locating, sometimes this is an issue and you will need to know how to find another position there.

Chronic sinusitis is named so for a situation wherein the sinuses swell. In order for this to be considered a chronic condition, the swelling must be present for more than three months. With chronic sinusitis, treatments may not help clear up the problem.

Anyone can get a chronic ear infection. You do not need to be genetically predisposed towards ear infections, however some people with narrow nasal passageways may experience an increase in ear infections over other people. A chronic ear infection is one that comes back time and time again. Ear infections have been known to cause permanent damage to the ear and/or eardrum.

Atopy refers to an allergic hypersensitivity that affects parts of the body that do not come into direct contact with the allergen. It is sometimes referred to as an atopic syndrome.

Chronic bronchitis is a lung condition. As far as lung diseases, chronic bronchitis is the one most familiar to people. Those suffering from chronic bronchitis have difficulty breathing. Those with the condition may also experience coughing with phlegm, fatigue, wheezing, recurring respiratory infections, dyspnea (shortness of breath). Shortness of breath may appear even with activities that do not require a lot of exertion.

Atopic rhinitis is a condition that is similar to allergies. It is not a rare condition. In fact, many people experience the symptoms of atopic rhinitis. Atopic rhinitis is a condition that is genetic or hereditary. Those who suffer this condition experience prompt allergic reactions that resemble asthma or vasomotor rhinitis. The reason this happens is there is an antibody in the skin and sometimes in the bloodstream of the individual that triggers the reaction.
