Do not also add additional dressing for it. If the veggies and fruits are raw, then it is better. You can also cook them by steaming them a little bit and remember not to add butter, salt or any other seasoning.

You can still eat those indulgences like the cakes and other sweets but you cannot eat a whole of it; a slice will do. Also, you can eat cakes that are made for diabetic. You have to be moderate and keep the sugar level low. The sugar, fat and calories that you can get from it can kill you.
