Why Sinusitis Is Regarded As A Social Life Destroyer

Sinusitis is possibly the most anti-social malady your face can have. Imagine frowning for no emotional cause at all. Even though you are not upset or irritated, your face shows that you are. Just imagine how it would go if you are meeting somebody new for the first time and you welcome him or her with a scowl. It is, indeed, not a truly welcoming sign of a fresh friendship.

You just can’t help but frown with sinusitis because of the pain it brings over the bridge of your nose. The people around you may not understand it, except you take the trouble of explaining your condition to each and everyone you come across with. It’s not a very funny scenario if you’re the one suffering.

It’s not simply about your facial look that tends to be a social buzz kill with sinusitis. It’s also very excruciating. General symptoms include stuffy and runny nose, sneezing and coughing, clear and thin or sometimes thick discharge from the nose, headache, and of course, facial spasm.

If you have critical sinusitis, you know how terrible it is. But those with the recurring type, you might be already used to the pain and it’s just an irritation for you rather than a pain.

How tough is the pain, you might ask? Have you ever dipped your head into a pool of water upside down? It’s not smart, but at least you would experience what kind of pain is expected if you have sinusitis. Not only is it so irritating, it also uglifies your face with a scowl.

So if you have a picnic date or you are going on a road trip with friends, you better think twice about coming unarmed. You will not merely spoiling the fun for yourself, although unintentionally, you will also spoil it for everybody else. Just imagine being with a person that frowns during the whole trip. Whatever excitement you are feeling, it’s going down with the person.

Not everyone experiences the same symptoms. Some goes through them all, while others just one or two. Even if you know you can deal with the mild symptoms, it’s still best to consult a physician, an Ear Nose Throat physician, for your problem. You never know if it will worsen into something more incurable or if you can entirely get rid of it.
